Jared Fogle reportedly paid $100 to have sex with a 16-year-old girl ... an encounter he called "amazing."
The FBI has subpoenaed text messages between Jared and a Subway employee with whom he was having a sexual relationship, according to Business Insider, which broke the story.
According to the report, in 2008 Jared wanted the woman to advertise herself on Craigslist to have sex with other men so he could watch. He allegedly said he'd pay $500 per encounter. Business Insider says the woman responded, "Is this the same website you found that 16-year-old girl that you f*****? I still can't believe you only paid $100 to her."
The report says Jared responded, "It was amazing!!!"
The woman says she went to Subway to complain, but the company did nothing.
Fogle's attorney did not respond to Business Insider.
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (Aug. 18, 2015)— FOX59 has confirmed Jared Fogle, the former Subway spokesman, is expected to plead guilty to possession of child pornography charges.
Sources say Fogle will accept a plea deal Wednesday. The U.S. Attorney’s Office will hold a press conference tomorrow afternoon to discuss the deal and charges against Fogle.
Fogle’s attorney, Ron Elberger, had no comment in regards to the plea deal. He said any information regarding the charges would come from the attorney’s office. Elberger did say Fogle’s suspension with Subway continues.

The charges come after federal agents raided Fogle’s Zionsville home in early July. FBI sources confirmed to FOX59 state and federal investigators were serving warrants at his home in connection with a child pornography investigation. Several computers and DVDs were seized from Fogle’s home.
Earlier this year, Russell Taylor, the former director of the Jared Foundation started by Fogle, was arrested in a child pornography case. He was accused of possessing and producing child pornography. Investigators said a search of Taylor’s home turned up more than 500 videos with images of child pornography. In May, Taylor unsuccessfully tried to kill himself while in jail.
Fogle gained national fame after attributing massive weight loss to eating Subway sandwiches. He was a freshman at Indiana University at the time. He later became a visible presence in Subway ad campaigns, pitching the restaurant’s sandwiches and touting their health benefits.
Subway suspended their relationship with the spokesman shortly after the raid.
Aside from their former spokesman taking footlongs in both ends, how is Subway still relevant? I'd rather eat an expired tuna sandwich from a gas station than anything from Subway.
Fortunately we have so many sub places in Orlando to choose from I don't have to settle for that gas station tuna.
One of my go to places for subs is actually Publix, a grocery chain here in the southeast.

There's also a ton of delis with great sandwiches and at least a dozen private owned sandwich shops. That selection is why I can easily avoid Subway even though I'm a sammich fiend!

Always wanted to try Firehouse Subs. Quizno's and Jimmy Johns put way too much dressing on for my liking. As a matter of fact Quizno's has been following Subway lately and skimping on their sandwiches. Yeah, 3 pickle slices is all I need. Too much guacamole and too little everything else, it seems.

You gotta tell them up front or stand in front like Subway and tell them to add. Subway has spoiled me on how I like my sandwich customized. I despise sandwich places that insist on certain toppings and then look at me like I have 3 heads when I say I don't want olives or something.
Yeah, I stopped eating at Subway a long time ago, occasionally my wife would run in and grab a couple sandwiches for us but she's paying for it, I'm not going to oppose. For me, around the same price, here in Downtown Vancouver, there are soooooo many other options, they're not necessarily sandwiches but just better options. There's a local Donair place I go to for their lunch special (that goes all the way to 5pm), for $8 (CAD), they pile on the meat and it includes a drink. That's a hell of a lot of food vs what I'd be paying at Subway (more at Subway actually), and the $5 specials either don't exist or the options are like the egg salad sandwich
Jared Fogle was injured during a fight in the recreation yard at the Colorado correctional facility where he has been imprisoned. Fellow inmate Steven Nigg tackled Jared to the ground and repeatedly punched the convicted felon in the face.The attack on Jared Fogle occurred because Steven Nigg is fed up with the amount of child sex offenders who are housed at the Englewood Correctional Facility in Colorado.
“In his words they were sending child molesters there for a program that did not work and let the molesters off with out serving hard time,” Jimmy Nigg said in an email to Heavy. “He wanted the public to know that these molesters were being sent to their backyard, just feet from schools and homes.”
Jared is currently serving a nearly 16-year sentence after pleading guilty to traveling to have sex with a minor as well as receipt and delivery of child pornography.There have been reports that Jared has gained over 30 pounds while behind bars because he has been binge eating due to stress – also no Subway diets available in the slammer.
As previously reported, attorneys for Jared filed an appeal to have the former Subway spokesman’s sentence reduced. They argue that Indiana District Court Judge Tanya Wade abused her privilege when sentencing Jared.

A Canadian investigative consumer program ordered DNA analysis of several fast-food chicken sandwiches and concluded that Subway chicken was only half meat — with the other half soy.
The sandwich chain strongly rebuts the allegations, with a spokesman calling them "absolutely false" and calling for a retraction.
On the episode, which aired Friday, the show found that dishes from McDonald's, Wendy's, A&W and Tim Horton's restaurants in Canada came in at 80 percent and 90 percent chicken DNA. (The meat was tested without any sauce or condiment, but seasoning and marinating would keep any chicken down from a pure 100 percent result, the CBC notes.)
But Subway's dishes were an outlier. "The oven roasted chicken scored 53.6 per cent chicken DNA, and the chicken strips were found to have just 42.8 per cent chicken DNA," the CBC reports. "The majority of the remaining DNA? Soy."
On Wednesday, a Subway spokesperson more emphatically rejected the CBC's claims.
I'm not sure how that's even a revelation. The odd time I eat at subway, I can't help but stare at that "chicken". It looks so incredibly processed, I'm surprised there's even 50% chicken in there
I go maybe once a year.. mainly cus I either go to Jimmy John's or Jersey Mike's instead. But Subway does have good subs..
Jimmy John's and Jersey Mike's are definietly a lot better. I used to only get the subs at Jimmy John's but a couple of weeks ago I tried one of the sandwiches on wheat bread and now I keep getting those when I go. I wish they would sell me one of those large containers of their hot peppers. I can't find any exactly like them anywhere.
Never knew that there's so much sugar in the Subway "bread". But is that why the bread smells and tastes that certain way? I doubt more sugar will result in that distinct Subway taste.
According to nutrition facts posted by the Subway, a 6-inch white bread roll has 5 grams of sugar — similar to that of an Oreo cookie.
Outside of low quality products, another good reason not to go there. My boss before he retired would eat a footlong, chips, and 3 cookies everyday. Of course he had a belly.
