in the area of my favorite pizza place... there are probably 25 other shops within a mile. pretty safe to say their all on the same water grid. and 100% confident in saying that all of Albanys water comes from one source.
so... why is it 20 out of those 25 places suck as bad as some places in the south?? lol

Pizza sauce is crushed Roma tomatoes & herbs, etc...it's not cooked(like RAGU) & it certainly ISN'T made from fresh beefsteak tomatoes.
WAIT WAIT WAIT..............
So, let me get this strait.
Pizzeria A is at 101 main street and gets better water than Pizzeria B on 500 main street.
Pizzeria A makes better pizza even though they use the same ingrediants.
Your logic says that this should be true, right?

forget factors like preperation, amount of cheese, amount of sauce, thickness of dough, balance of ingredients, temperature/oven, cooking time.
the million other things that go into a GOOD pizza that can be put together ANYWHERE.

Are you serious?
and all you have to go by, to make this claim is your experience from comparing pizza in the Hamptons and a google article?

"Pizza Sauce"...used by 99% of pizzerias...BUT used as a thickener for crushed tomatoes only. It's not really sauce, it's more like tomato concentrate...not used by itself, etc.
Probably what you saw scooter...either that or a similar product.

Mack and Manco's on the boardwalk. The pizza is probably shit, but being on the boardwalk makes everything taste better.
Wash it down with a fresh lemonade and some Johnson's popcorn for dessert.
