Bobby Flay's GRILL IT Cook book

Soooo worth the money!

I got it from amazon yesterday, made a dish from it tonight and it came out quite excellent. This book is worth it's weight in gold.

I made grilled baby lamb chops with Balsamic-honey glaze and mint pesto.

I was pretty tripped out that I made pesto!

I also have the Ad Hoc cookbook coming a couple weeks.

He knows what he is doing. Never hurts to have a good grill book.

Only problem I find with cookbooks is that I typically don't have 50% of the ingredients they're asking for. You really have to plan ahead.

A lot of his recipes are simpler, but you are correct. I almost never follow the entire recipe and I always end up adding something new.

Yes. But this cookbook really centers around many things you already have.

Or at least I will accumulate whatever I already dont have as I pick recipes to make.

+1 I have at least 10 different cookbooks and I haven't even made 1 dish out of each of them. This one seems worth the look, though.

FWIW, I have been trying a few different things from www.allrecipes.com and I have been happy with all of them. I pretty much never follow the recipes exactly, but use them as a good base and add to/adjust them to suite my tastes.
