Xbox Controller Advice

After logging countless hours on friends' Xboxes, I finally decided to scoop one up for myself. Since M$ stopped making controllers for the Xbox, prices for them are pretty outrageous. I'm not really in to paying $30 for a controller for what's considered an "old" system.

ANYWHO , I've been lookin around on the interweb and have come across the Logitech Wireless controller. I know Logitech makes quality stuff for computers, but I wanna know if their console controllers are any good.

Should I buy these? Ever since I was a kid, I've ALWAYS used 1st party controllers, because there are a lot of just plain SHITTY (ehemmadcatzehem) 3rd party controllers.

Anybody have them/know about them? Thanks.

I have two of them. Excellent controllers in my mind. I got them from Gamestop on sale for $19.99 a few months back.

I have the Logitech wireless controller for PS2, and it is excellent. My buddy has one for the original Xbox and it's great as well.

I might even say it's better than the 1st party controller.

Really, Logitech is a first-rate manufacturer in every regard and it's a quality product. You won't go wrong at all.
