I just picked this game up and played it for about 20 minutes. Out of any fps control system (mouse, dual joystick) it is by far the most intuitive, well see how it fares against the mouse in long term use. All of the wii aspects of the controls are paid extremely close attention giving it the most intuitive controller use of any game for the wii. The graphics are a step down after lots of bioshock but they do very well with the hardware.

just got my copy hours ago but i am in the middle of some other games that i have to finish (i like to complete games before playing something else with the exception of fighters for quick play) i got one of the last copies in the store too i had to send the cashier looking for it. i cant wait though

I got my copy when it came out. Its OK. the controls are really good and yet they are annoying all at the same time. I never loved the prime series either so this is game isnt revving me up like bioshock did. I havent even played it in a few days. I do need to work on it more though with all the new releases in the next month or two.

So is the Wii really that fun to play? I haven't gotten one because to me it seems kind of gimmicky with that wand. But I have always loved the Metroid series, eventhough I didn't really like Prime 2. I was kind of dissapointed that Prime 3 wasn't going to come out on the GameCube.

 

I love playing the wii wdnuliketobeofftopic every game plays different the wii is designed for fun gameing not playing movies or trying to win you with graphics. wii sports is probably the simplest console game since 2d sonic/mario days but when you get a wii and try it out you have so much fun playing it dosent even matter. everything has a gimmick or you noone would buy anything

 

well i just finished it sun and all in all im pretty impressed with this game

controls were flawless i didnt do things that i didnt intend. the interactions to activate things in the game where both unique and made sence ie to disengage a power cell you press the A button samus reaches out to grab it you turn the contorler counter clock then pull back and she does the same thing to remove it and you do the opposite to put on in.

gameplay great fun i finished in 1544 getting 96% of pickups i imagine knowing where EVERYTHING is you could do a whole game in about 7-8 hours getting everything possible and i would esimate about 3-5 hourse geting the bare minimum to complete the game while it looks like just a FPS its metroid its not a game just to run-n-gun

story is great if you have been playing the whole metroid prime series but there is plenty of new things story wise.

i would reccomend this game to any gamer but its a must for any metriod fan.
