it is an interesting concept however if you are so fucking pathetic and out of shape that you have to rely on a nintendo video game product to help you work out....well that speaks volumes....

im sure this thing will sell well but 2 months after release date, there will be ALOT of idiots scratching their heads wondering why they pissed away there money on such a gimmick that they never use.

NOW, having said that, if nintendo can somehow program some REAL games that can utilize that "wii fit board" or whatever you want to call it, then MAYBE it will be worth it, but strictly as a workout tool? come on, give me a fucking break!!!! you might as well by any of that other bull shit on the infomercials for workout gimmicks that never work...

Haha...they should "retrofit" a Dance Dance revolution if they want something that gets somebody's heart rate going.

I think the idea is that they are going to make games for it. I know the "workout" games will include a snow boarding or skateboarding game. Which is what interests me.

But I won't slam on people who might want to try this for a little exercise. Some people really hate the gym, others find it hard to get motivated. If this is something that can get them active, then so be it. Nothing wrong with finding something you like to get your heart rate up.

Honestly some Wii Sports Boxing plus some Wii Fit pushups is a pretty decent workout. You won't get big but at least your 10yr old won't be heavier than you.

I'm picking this game up. My mom got a "Wii" for exercise ... but has only used it for a couple days and now it sits idle in the living room TV ... LOL

But this for her b'day ... now she can exercise for real!

What is the largest size foot and weight that it support.

Thinking of getting this for the wife's birthday. I'm sure eventually it'll end up like the Wii, just sitting there doing nothing. But we should easily get $100 of fun out of it.

I bought it the other day off Craigslist for my girlfriends bday. I must say it's a lot of fun! Definitely better than I expected, that's for sure.

Found a copy at the local Toys R Us. Played it for a couple hours ... wife is good at some events ... I'm not so good at any particular event. Need to unlock more events! Oh well ...

But a definite yes to anyone who is on the fence for this game. The board will have many new games that will be designed for it ... (snowboarding / skateboarding / surfing ... that's what I can foresee)
