is there anything else that i should look for when buying a ups for my desktop other than the basic price/how long it lasts. i found one with 8 sockets that last 15-30 min with built in surge protection for about 40ish and it has usb connection for management

Brand for this type of thing does make a world of differance.

I tend to only buy APC, also how many watts is it?

 

APC is a great brand for UPS, belkin is decent as well.

What are the specs of your computer? 330w isn't that much, but could do the job. Im not familiar with CyberPowers backups. But like Sly said... APC and Belkin are the most well known.

 

no its not much but i think my power supply to my com is only 350-400 im not running a gamming machine. im just tired of my computer getting cut off then i end up with messed up system files
