Big let down on that review adam. Not being able to use the bushes and stuff? WTF?!?

I don't really like Halo2 that much. The online interface is great, but the actual game... eh Maybe its cause I'm not that good at it, but I hate how I shoot people and they don't die. Yet I get taken out with that weak machine gun with a few hits to the back. That's my only gripe with Halo2.

LOL - If you want a one shot on kill game - Play Ghost Recon.

Halo is designed to take many shots to kill a person. Just like every other similar FPS.

What I dont like is SOCOM, which is supposed to have realism, yet it takes 2 clips of an assault rifle to drop some clown.

I wouldn't mind it taking so many shots to drop someone if it took alot of shots to kill me. Seems like when I played I would get ownt with very few shots of teh ghey SMG you usually start out with.

probably dual wielding...that is huge in this game as well as beating people down with your gun when close.

but steve... im serious. you CAN handicap yourself.

if you trully believe that you have to shoot someone more than they have to shoot you... then you might of turned that on.

I can see where this game isn't for everyone but I for one think it's a pretty good game.

The single player campaign is pretty challenging - you get tons of choices of weapons and depending on the mission, you need to choose wisely the setup you want with you. I also like the idea that you can go through the missions in Lone Wolf mode with specialty gear. This means you go in alone with your M29 gun that has a built in camera and laser designator for air support to take out your targets. With the M29 you can also hold the gun around a corner or from a covered position to shoot at your targets.

Multiplayer is pretty good too. Maps are HUGE!! Nothing like Halo where you run and gun. In GR you CAN just plant yourself with your sniper rifle and just pick people off. Man different game types just like Halo 2. This game is more for realism utilizing actual weapons and prototype weapons but is still as fun as hell.

Graphics are leaps and bounds over the previous version and the rag doll physics are a great addition. Sound effects are sweet especially in dolby 5.1.

Hope some of you guys give this game a chance so we can play online.

Try Rainbow Six 3... It's much more like Socom.. I personally never was a big fan of Ghost Recon
