ToCA Race Driver 2006 - no 56k plz
This looks promising... Codemasters' games usually have good playability and realism, and are fun to play. I think I would get this for PC.

I have a hunch GTR is going to provide your fix quite nicely for this sort of thing. You know about the GT Legends game that's due out next, right? I really want to drive the Cobra coupe!

May as well wait 'til the weekend though so you can give it a right & proper shakedown. Once you get a couple of weeks under your belt, I'm going to be real curious to hear your opinions of how the physics stack up against GT4.
yea I think that's what I'll do... plus I don't have the Momo Force wheel here with me... I have to pick it up over the weekend... so that's another reason I was in no rush to install it. And no, I'm not installing the DFP...

and the answer regarding how the physics of GTR stack up to GT4....
the answer is, there is no comparison. You can't compare em. GTR is raw simulation. GT4 is an arcade game compared to it. This is how it was with the old version of GTR - its the same with the new version, only the difference is magnified due to the refinements. Amazing. Now I just need more cars and tracks, and I will be golden.
ONE BIG THING though - is there any way to adjust the force feedback? I feel like, when I steer, that the force feedback wants to turn the wheel the WAY I AM GOING - i.e. it offers no opposite resistance when turning, as it should - this is how it was with the old GTR too - and we kind of either dealt with it or turned off force feedback - I was hoping they would have fixed that for the new version, guess not. Any ideas? I noticed there was a checkbox for "reverse force" - not sure what that does. I clicked it and it crashed my computer
