If anybody plays Tekken who is your favorite player. Mines is Hworang

Haven't played in ages, but Jin was usually my man. I am picking up Tekken for PSP this week, got great reviews. Hworang was awesome once you learned how to use both his fighting styles.

 

Ah yes...the one-true button-mashing fighting game.


I enjoyed it but it's not at the top of my fighting games list...I'd put games like Soul Calibur, Samurai Shodown, Guilty Gear, Street Fighter, and Virtua Fighter ahead of it...

That being said, I'll likely nab the PSP release...

 

I was and still am a die-hard SF fan (where the HELL is EX 4 btw :angry: ) But Tekken is just a game that takes skill, imo. I love SF, but to fight without resorting to shooting projectiles is awesome. I wish they would change the mechanics of SF to be more like Tekken.

I tried to have a friend of mine learn to play Tekken, but it was just too involved, so I never got to play anybody who was good at it. Maybe we can set up some online Tekken once a few of us get it on PSP

 

See, I used to enjoy Tekken until I played Soul Calibur and Virtua Fighter 4...if you find Tekken good, give the latter 2 a try...I just found them to be much more polished and deeper...

Iono if Im just saying this because Im a fan, but I don't think of tekken as a button-mashing fighting game. Then again any fighting game played against/with someone whos not good or don't know any better can be a button-mashing fighting. [Fyi I do like Soul Calibur/SF/SnK/...]

 

Kazuya because he's the friggin devil! Him and Heihachi. heihachi in tekken 1 was incredibly imbalanced. He even had the same voice as Jack! PWN!

 

I used to play with Paul.

 

Ever get in trouble with the law for that?
