What else do you see with those fast money games??? All it is-is the first team to get the majority of units (majority being 50%+1, not 51%) and attacking. Or if its 2 on 3 (cuz your other member got lagged out or quit), you got a 95% chance of losing.

bull shit!!! just went to Gamestop to put more money toward SC2 and I always check the future game thing. We'll SC2 was suppose to come on June, now it's NOVEMBER!!

Used to play it until dawn...and then until supper...then, my eyes would twitch...and then, I'd pass out for hours. Repeat.




And gawd...was I damn good at the game. Memories.

I think my record for playing SC was...28 hours at once. All I had was a couple cans of Jolt and corn chips.

Who fucking rush with 60 zelot first of all? 8 hatchery? I pump like 10-12, all depends on the game.


I played plenty of 2vs3 games, I rarely lose. It all depends who you play with... if you play w/ someone you know well enough, then you shouldn't have problem playing 2v3.

Time to time, they all pick toss and z rushed me (probably 12-15z), still survive. It all depends how you play and what you are playing against..

All you Zergs out there need to man up and play Terran. Everybody knows the Zerg is way overpowered. Real men play Terran and still win

 

Ehhh...arguable. The Zergs were indeed overpowering when SC first released. But, they've been nerfed quite a bit IMO in the later builds. I'd say it's more or less equal...

...That being said, given the Zergs speed -- and I firmly believe in speed above all in RTS games -- they are still the favored race for me to use. No way around it.

But, a very good Terran and Protoss player can still negate the Zerg if they know how to play defense early. For me, keys for success for Zerg is very early game harassment to weaken the opposition. Towards the end, if you let the other races get too strong, the Zerg is at a disadvantage.

 

^^ so true.... more time you give to terran, stronger they get....samething goes to toss.

I enjoy playing w/ terran the most... they are really fun to play with. I would say toss is the best all around, from the start to the end.

 

Protoss as best all-around...? Really...? I think that should be given to the Terran.

Don't get me wrong as Protoss is my 2nd choice after the Zerg, but I find the Protoss to be the strongest overall but the slowest. They are plodding. To play as them, strong defence is needed in the beginning stages before you amass your legions...

Terrans to me are the best all-around...since it doesn't take them that long to obtain the advanced techs and machinery. But, admittedly, they are my weakest as I just never got to mastering them as well as the other two races.

 

Oh yeah. Whenever I play against Zerg, I have to get turrets and anti air going before I can even think about building any units. Otherwise the initial blitz is overpowering. They have some great stuff early on, but don't seem to advance too far when you start doing the research. The terrans have some truly awesome units in their arsenal once you research and upgrade, but that takes time and resources.
