Star Wars: The Force Unleashed
Got the demo off Xbox Live today.
Its fun. I can see it maybe becoming a little repetive, hopefully the actual game introduces elements to prevent that, and I think it does.
I like the interactive background...but I dont think its as ALL ENCOMPASSING as they claim.
And I dont like how they have damage "heal" and dead characters fade out...I want to slash the wall and see the mark stay. i want to kill someone and have their body remain.
Also sucks you cant slice up people...
Otherwise, it is pretty fun, and I plan on buying it.

Yea i agree. It's decent. When you can learn alot new combos/force powers i'm assuming it will get alot better. However do i think it will become repetitive and +1 on the no limb removal of bodies.

Big Block go VROOOM!
Is the physics engine improved/enhanced as they claimed it would be? For example I read that if you force pull a trooper, he may try to grab on to any nearby heavy objects and if he does, you're now force pulling the mass of both.

Yeah. Bigger objects take "more" to move.

Just downloaded it and played it earlier, its really fun! I was never really into Star Wars until I played the Phantom Menace game for the PSX, it was so much fun. Then it was Jedi Outcast, that game was hilarious because if you walked into a storm trooper and your lightsaber touched him, he would scream and yell like he was getting hit but wouldnt take any damage. I found it was the same in TFU....
This'll probably be my next 360 game in a while and my first Star Wars game in a loooong time. The last game I got was Kotor 2, hopefully this game is just as engulfing

Remember that even though the Wii one will have inferior graphics, it's supposed to have a few more extras such as dueling (one on one fighting) and I think another level. Can someone confirm? I can't go to video games websites at work.

I played through the demo for my son (who's grounded from the Xbox for a while) last night. It's pretty fun. The havok you can wreak is very therapeutic.

I've been enjoying it. Even playing normal it gets hard in areas and I die a lot.
Some shit is frustrating.
The cutscenes are among the best I've seen as far as lipsync, skin texture and human movement.

Fuck you star destroyer...fuck you tie fighters....finally beat that fucking stage. I can finally go to bed.

That was one of my favorite games ever. Kill all the storm troopers, but leave one survivor, then walk right up into his face and put your lightsaber into him (but don't swing) he would stand there and wince and scream and pain but never die.

I know you're stuck at home and all but it only took you a few days to finish? I'm disappointed.... looked like it had a lot of depth with all the level ups and everything.
Then again I finished Castle Crashers when I was sick at home too.... hmmmmm

just got the game today. i am really enjoying it alot however there are some SERIOUSLY annoying bugs and glitches that i cant beleive made it into a retail version of a high profile game.
there is texture and shadow pop-in constantly. Sometimes objects just pop up right in front of you. There are definate contact/hit-detection issues, the targeting system is frustrating to say the least.
in spite of all that crap i am still enjoying the hell out of this game. if anything, a game like this, with these types of problems, make you really appreciate the polish on a game like metal gear solid 4.

still enjoying this game quite a bit, fuck though , does it get DIFFICULT!!! some of the bosses are INSANELY difficult and they are CHEAP!!!! just cheap hits, hitting you while you are down, hitting you in the back.
Its odd, for as many flaws as this game has, it is still really really fun. The story so far is interesting, the locations are really cool, the sound is absolutely incredible, there really is alot to like about this game but fuckin a, its going to give me an anxiety attack with the insane difficulty and cheap deaths!!

hahahah, psp??? whatever.
i just beat it tonight on the ps3. the star destroyer sequence was honestly one of the easiest boss sequences in the entire game. it just takes awhile. i got it down on my first try after 4 waves of tie fighters. just hide behind the pillar thing to the left, double jump and lighting strike the tie fighters, align the star destroyer so its level, pull down until your power is almost gone, then start over again.
