I still think they flubbed up on the game selection. Intelligent Qube -- from what I remember -- was really and OK game that gained notoriety because it was rare and therefore expensive. The game itself was just OK. Yet they included it...

 

At this price point, it's pretty difficult for me to turn it down. I'm seriously considering this. I embarrassingly purchased the NES Classic for something like $200 when it first came out and all the retards somehow immediately snatched them up to monopolize them for resale. I understand the argument that you can get all of the games as ROMs, but for some reason it sort of feels different playing the "actual" game. Maybe it's as simple as the fact that I use a keyboard to play ROMs and a controller to play the "real" game. I've never owned a Playstation of any generation, so this would also be a value in that I would be getting games I've never played. I do feel that with all of these consoles they're ripping people off with the game selections, however. If you're only going to have 20 or 30 games, I realize it's impossible to have every good game on the platform on it and inevitably some will be left off. But the ones that do make it on should all be solid hits. It's OK to have games that aren't well-known if they're still great games that were just overlooked. That can happen. But there should never be even one game where people question why it's on the console. Nintendo and Sony have the benefit of 25 or 30 years of hindsight where you can literally tell which were the good games and which weren't. It's not a guessing game.

 

Aww fuck it. I got $15 in best buy rewards certificates burning a hole in my pocket, may as well get it for $5. MGS is worth $5
