It's here already!!!

No, that's not a bunch of games. It's one item and it's definitely gaming related.
More pics to follow as I unpack & assemble.
OK, here's round two of the hints:

Note the quarter for scale.
I'm not sure if I'm going to get it built tonight. My living room looks like the styrofoam peanut man did a suicide bombing.
And JC, that flight sim rig would bankrupt me on the electric bill. Think of the A/C you'd need to keep that sumbitch tolerable in the Summer!

After unwrapping the components and looking through the manual, I am simply in awe at this thing. I'm guessing that it's literally going to take me about 3 hours to assemble it and get it adjusted poperly which isn't going to happen tonight.
I don't want to drag this thread out from a silly little game into flat out annoying so I'll just use material from elsewhere for the reveal.
Behold the ECCI Trackstar 6000
Click on the image of the wheel or pedals for more info.
I got the fully loaded GTS model with three pedals, extra button set and a real Momo model 29 wheel. It looks just like this guy's setup but in red.
Here's a pic from the manual to give you an idea. You can see how the pedals are hinged from the top like a real car. In the top portion, you can also sort of make out the progressive braking resistance system.

This fucker is massive! Everything is made of 1/8" plate steel. No plastic anywhere except for the thumb buttons. Shipping weight is listed as 70 pounds.

Front, back, and side pics of the paddle shifter/button unit.
I am simply in awe of the build quality of this thing.

If you look closely at the side view you can see that it's possible to adjust the front to back positioning of the paddles, the throw of the paddles, and the preload of the springs behind the paddles.

I'm not going for a full cockpit setup. The seat will remain my cheapo office chair since the rig will be clamped as-needed to the office desk where my main machine is.

Below are some pics I shot since getting everything assembled.
Random Impressions:
I believe I put about four hours of work into assembling and adjusting everything. You definitely need a moderate assortment of wrenches, hex keys, and sockets or you'll have a tough time working on this thing.
All of the axes are extremely smooth. The PMB II system on the brake makes lockup realistic and controllable in GTR. I've only turned maybe a three dozen laps in various games, but the amount of precision offered by this beast can be easily felt. IIRC, a standard USB controller generally offers a few hundred positions per input axis. The ECCI offers over 1,000.
I'm having trouble getting my left foot comfortable. My hip is actually getting a little sore from hodling my foot up off of the brake pedal. I may see if I can come up with a way to mechanically lock the clutch pedal so that I can use it to rest my left foot. Also, Momo must use cheap dye to color the suede on their steering wheels. My hands are filthy when I'm done driving for anything over 15 minutes.
Overall though, I'm very happy with my purchase!

Interior of the wheel exposed.

Wheel clamp system. Very secure.

Mechanics on the back side of the pedal set.

Complete pedal set.

Wheel from 1st person perspective.

Wheel ready to drive.

Rise, LCD monitors aren't any good for photo editing unless you spend bigtime $'s.
Stangg, you can only purchase these direct from the manufacturer, ECCI. The link is further up in the thread.

Looks sweet. My wife would kill me if I ever got something like that.

Nice score, Billiam!
