Should I buy Playstation 2 now or wait?
good choice man
since u like FF games u can catch up playing the old classics (being psone backwards compatible)
FF anthology, FF chronicles and FF origins
FF5/FF6 and FF4/Chrono trigger, FF1/FF2 are packaged together respectively
hell why not collect all the FF's
FF7, FF8, FF9, etc.
all can be bought at a cheap expect price X-2 which has yet to drop in price
since u like FF X-2 i recommned playing FF X first
u may want to check out xenosaga too
o yea since u said u wanted to use it to watch dvd's i highly recommend u get the dvd remote
make sure its the new one, assuming u have the new ps2 (most likely SCPH 50001)
it doesn't need the IR reciever and it has a eject and power on/off buttons (remote will have a green button in the top right hand corner, old remotes don't)
u don't have to get off your ass to turn on or off the ps2
anyways this is sorta related to ps2 and the tsx
i made this sig for the scea.com boards (sony computer entertainment of america)
its nothing special but hey...
how often do u see a tsx sig

I just picked up FFX yesterday. It's pretty good, but I've been spoiled by X-2.
Also, there's WAY too much cinematics and not enough gameplay in X (at least early on in the game). I understand they need to introduce the story, but sheesh! Luckily they fixed that problem in X-2. I also have FFChronicles, and FFXIII. I did get the DVD remote. Now if I could only get someone to change the discs for me....
PS2 actually works pretty well as a DVD player. The remote is great. I like that pic!
Wal-Mart had a celebration sale this weekend with the "fat" PS2 going for $158.00 CAD. I decided to pass it up eventhough thats the best price I've ever seen it for in Canada. Mistake?
Somehow I think Gamecube is a better fit for my gaming tastes which are mainly sports and Mario games.
So I ended up dusting off the NES and playing Jackal and Pinball for awhile, ah the memories. Can''t find my original Mario Bros though.

I don'y have a GB but I agree. I probly will just end up getting a GBA. Portibility is something I'm looking for as well. $99.99 CAD for a GBA with the original Mario Bros game, may jump on that.
I also ended up buying the joystick that attaches directly to the RCA jacks on your TV and plays original Atari games. Problem is, those Atari games are fun to play for about 45 seconds and then you remember why Atari went under.

Agent Chen: I'm waiting on GT4 until the price comes down. I don't think it's worth paying 50 bucks just to have it right when it comes out.
It sucks that the new, slim PS2 won't have HD capability. Now I have to shell out the $$$ for the network adaptor.

Also, there is a new thing out that will let you play games that are stored on the harddrive.
Check it out:

If you have any questions about modding or anything like that let me know! I did my own for "testing" purposes and I can point you the right direction!
Have fun man!

Regarding the turbonator, I was merely amused at the increase of 10whp with the guy who quoted Neon. I found it rather humerous, however, did not realize that this particular item had been beaten like a dead horse. My apologies.
I guess being a noob it will be sometime to enter your circle of trust.
