Recommend me a wireless router for gaming

Would love to hear what everyone else is using for gaming in regards to a wireless router hooked up to your broadband connection (cable for me);

This is what I would like;
-802.11G
-good latency (so I don't suck as bad as I currently do in BF2, and yes that is why I suck so bad!!
-decent security
-stable for the most part
-decent price

I am fed up with this crappy ass Netgear WGT624 that is sitting on my desk right now.

Thanks!

Linksys WRT54G is recommended by my company.

And of course there is DLINK: DGL-4300. More money.

I've had the same Linksys 802.11B router since the technology came out. I love it and have never had any problems. Ill get a G router someday when broadband gets a little faster.

This thread isn't yet. I'm looking at the WRT54G and the WRT54G2. I'm a network newb so I don't want to mess with firmware. The G has 2 antannae and the G2 has none. Should I go with the older one? They are the same price. Which is better?

i have a WRT300N, I like it, the increased range is good over G, the PS3 doesn't have problems with it and it lasted for a while, until it broke during moving, i bought another one and thats as good as the old one.

Linksys WRT54G w/ Tomato OR DD-WRT firmware.

Works lightning fast for me with no problems.

Yep I have that router too! No issues since I updated the firmware and changed the MTU size to 1392.

the N just has better range and speed over the G i was using and not a single issue with it. PS3 hooks right up to it wireless without any issues. extremely quick.

wrt600N - dual band wireless N, so double the band width...plus a storage link on the back so i can hook up an external and used across the network.
