Well, they're out now. A local Target had the Daxter gift pack ( not feelin the ice silver ) and about 6 of the old core packs.
Anybody got one yet, thoughts?

 

Aight, I just took the plunge(again) and got me a Dexter bundle. Had the 1st one(son has it now) when it just came out(2 years ago), but there wasn't any good game out them. So, can someone recommend me some GOOD games that's out now? I love RPGs(but not turn- based battle, like FF-more like Untold Legends), shooters, action/adventure, games. Not into simulation(racing) games.

 

I really got into Syphon Filter: Dark Mirror... in fact... when it first came out, nothing interesting was out for the 360 and I, actually, stop playing the 360 for a period of time and only the PSP with S.Filter...

I love'd it and I think IGN.com gave it a 9.3 rating, which is pretty high for a PSP game (or any hand held game)

 

Bought it(syphon filter) yesterday. Game is pretty fun to play! Reminds me of splinter cell.(which I love to play)
Also got killzone:liberation. Haven't started that yet!

 

My friends all have Monster Hunter Freedom. I personally haven't played it because I'm not into RPG's, but the 4 player co-op looks cool.

I personally loved the Metal Gear games for the PSP. (both Ac!d's and Portable Ops)

Also, I agree with others, the new PSP is too thin.

i shouldve sold my 1st generation before all these revisions cameout.

 

I wish they had made it a touch screen and also bring the GPS program here (they have it in Europe), the touch screen alone would open up a ton of opportunities in game development/projects... not to mention making it easier for the GPS

 

i still love psp, still got my 1st gen.

I thought I had read somewhere that they were going to end the UMD thing awhile back(?)

 

As long as the PSP continues to be in production, UMD will continue as well as far as I know...?

Still got my first gen, and still playing Final Fantasy Crisis Core.

Chris, how's that game, i was thinking of getting it but. they have bad ratings from G4

 

Why, god why won't they just redesign it with another freaking joystick, ya know... like a PS2 controller!? if they did that I would buy one in a heartbeat. Without it, it is useless in my eyes.

 

Honestly, I only got it because it's part of the FF series, but it's not that great. I've been playing it for 5 hours already, and I can respectfully say that it's quite boring. It's exciting when it's exciting, but it's boring when it's boring. I need a game that'll keep me awake at night, not put me to sleep

 

Lumines, you nimrod. If not, get Metal Gear Anthology. And also Final Fantasy Tactics is kick@$$.

And of course, the greatest PSP game...evar: Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops...
