When it came to the PS5 version’s graphical upgrades and quality-of-life improvements, Square was more forthcoming, promising “improved textures, lighting, and atmospheric fog.” There will also be multiple graphics modes: “Switch between the game modes ‘Graphics mode’ which prioritizes 4K high-resolution graphics, and ‘Performance mode’ which prioritizes smooth action at 60 frames per second,” the company wrote.
120fps would be nicer. It’s so smooth playing games at 120fps. It’s great especially with Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War despite that game being trash.

Sony sometimes just blows gonads...
So, I decided to upload my saved game onto my PS+ account so I can have it ready on my PS5...well, guess what: I get the lovely NP-31805-7 error. I was worried my FF7R file was corrupted but I just fired the game up on the PS4 and no issues. Loads just fine.
Tried again on the PS4 to uplaod to my PS+ account. Nada. Called Sony support and they system hangs up on me because apparently, they too busy. FFS.
I guess I can try the USB method. But seriously, WTF.

Something weird about the PS+ account...so, I was able to extract the files from my PS4 via USB and just manually transfer them into the PS5. Once in the latter console, I was able to upload the saved files for FF7R just fine to PS+...so, go figure. 
Anyways, whatever. At least I got it to work and did not lose all my hard work.
FF7R looks decent on the PS5...runs pretty smoothly. So, an upgrade to the actual PS5 version may be even more tits (not implying Tifa but maybe).

Gist is, if you're like Miz and I and OWN the PS4 copy of FF7R already AND have a PS5 now, you'll get a free upgrade to the PS5 version of FF7R in June. No purchase needed.
BUT, for the Yuffie add-on, we need to buy THAT and the sale for just THAT add-on has not been released yet. All pre-sales right now are for full copies of FF7R AND the Yuffie add-on so, don't go pre-ordering this if you own the PS4 version of FF7R already.

over a year later and I havent even played it. 
Might as well wait for the free PS5 upgrade.
