PS3: Formula One
I played the demo tonight. I was more impressed by this game than GT:HD. GT seemed too smooth. That made it seem not very realistic feeling. Played F1 with the controller, and I really think that was the only reason it felt a bit arcadey and jerky. It's too hard to consistently apply smooth inputs using the controller. With a wheel this game would be golden. Sensation of speed was top-notch, Motion and heat blur was executed very well - this is a stellar first-gen game. I kept playing it - that told me right away it was fun to play. With GT I was like, ehh, right. Nurburgring on GT4 was more fun. Even though HD has introduced (again) actually controllable drifting, I had more FUN with drifting in GT3 or dare I say GT2. It's like, this game is almost TOO fluid and smooth.. I mean, real-life hard driving does not feel that smooth. The steering wheel shakes, the cockpit reverberates with hitting the bumps at such a rate of speed - I didn't feel any of this in GT:HD. And this was not an issue of lack of rumble because I did feel a sense of realism with F1 - not like I've driven an F1 car in real life but I mean, it didn't feel arcadey except for the controller - the views were amazing too. I really wanted to play it. And I would dare to say this - I would be interested in buying a PS3 because of this game. It is the best PS3 game I played so far.
Also watched a Bluray movie, it looked pretty good.

and, if you have a PS3 and don't have this game... umm.. I wonder about you.

But, you have to be a big-time driving fan and enjoy the surgical-precision type of driving as well. Otherwise, you'll get bored of this quickly. 9/10 in my books.
Meh. All you console boys need to get with the program...errr...open your wallets if you want realistic F1.

Seriously it looks good - but I think its too much effort to get it going. And, 60" Wega at 1080p pwnsj00. Have you seen F1 on PS3? Certain replays and angles look like TV cameras. It was pretty damn impressive.
