PS3 Blue Tooth Problems
I think I might have to send my PS3 in for service
. First off I got my PS3 about a year and a half ago. Its a 40 gb refurb from Gamestop. Ever since I bought it my controller (non dualshock) would die after about ten minuets even when the battery meter was full. So I figured the battery was bad since it was previously used and I always have to use it while plugged in. Fast forward to now, I got a blue tooth headset and another controller (dualshock) for Christmas. I fully charge my new controller and now it dies after about 10 minutes when the battery meter is full again. I then try out my new headset and that is having a hard time connecting. It was connecting and disconnecting from the PS3 constantly. I did get it to work once and after about 10 minutes it was gone. The controllers work fine when they are plugged in. It seems like the blue tooth transmitter is bad in the PS3. Any suggestions?

Def sounds like the BT part. Were the controllers plugged in more than 10 mins to totally rule them out (probably fine since you got a new dualshock)? Isn't the BT a card? I'd check the playstation forums. Not sure which are the best.

I charged the new dualshock controller for a couple hours with my pc before I used it. The other controller I never unplug now since I originally thought the battery was bad in it.
