I was surprised to not see a thread on this. I played the demo last night for the first time and it seemed pretty good. Samuel L Jackson is pretty entertaining. I think he's supposed to be your narrarator/guide throughout. There's a nice array of moves, action is pretty fast paced and there's a slomo button for when you're under attack by many enemies or if you just want to see the detail of shanking fools. LOL!!!

I played the demo the other night on 360 and I thought it was semi entertaining. It was better than I expected. I still don't think I would buy it.

 

^Yeah I think I was more surprised than anything that it didnt suck. I'm not into all the anime series out there so this was the first time I heard of the game and show and given the name I didnt expect much.

 

Soooo I ended up goin and buying it after work yesterday. LOL!!!! I must say it's pretty good. It's gets better and a lil harder than the demo because the demo is actually the very first stage. Got hooked on it for about 2 hours last night...

from that video alone, looks as if id get bored in 10 minutes.

 

It's just one of those games you have to play instead of relying on someone else's scoring. Cuz if you read the comments after the review a lot of people couldnt figure out why the score was so low after they actually played the demo. However if you looked at the vid and think you wont like it the most likely you wont.

 

I used to agree with IGN's reviews to the dot. At times I went against the grain and played a game I thought I would like regardless, and ended up hating it for the very reasons IGN did.

But as of late, they are giving shitty games great reviews...so I suppose i'll give the demo a shot.
