Trying to save a new file on my ps2 memory card, long story short, it won't let me save cause there isn't enough space, and it also won't let me access the card so that I can delete it without losing the data that I'm trying to save. What can I do short of buying another memory card?

 

Put it in another PS2 and delete whatever to free up space. If you're at a game save screen, that's pretty much your only choice, other than buying a new card.

 

Just save it on the hard drive........oh wait.
