Anyone a fan of Ace Combat? It's one of those games that I always wanted to try but never got around to buying...

This new one looks very nifty tho...Anyone have any input would be great too!

ahhaha... I coulda written sentence 1... graphics always looked great, always wanted to try it, but I never did. I just feel you can't do a good flight sim on a console. I was a PC flightsim buff... one of the things I LOVED about PC sims was the number of buttons and options on the keyboard. Loved the keyboard templates and such. Fav game ever was probably EF2000 - the newer version I think it was 2.0. Oldies included that Chuck Yeager game, forgot the full name.. Flight Unlimited was quite good. And, always liked the Flight Simulator series. Used to play a lot of the MicroProse games.

 

I love the Ace Combat series. Ace Combat and Soul Calibur are my favorite games from Namco.

 

Awesome game. Try it. I have owned all of them, they are all very good. THey keep trying to add a storyline, but it;s just not needed. All this talk of wars on planets that done exist, you just end up skipping all the movies. Rent it before you buy it, but I think you will. This one is on my 'To get' list right now.

i have the lastest one. and imo its a really really great game if your into these kinds of game. Two thumbs up from me

I think this is a better game than AC5. But that doesn't say a lot, the series itself is too arcade-ish.

I have been playing AC since AC3.
