Talking Played a 23 Inning Game on MLB 2005 (PS2)

Check it out, part of my Box Score...I was the Cubbies...

I had to use every pitcher I had, except one Starter...(Kerry Wood)

Their Pitchers... David Wells going 12.2 Innings on me They didn't have any extra base hits, just 11 singles.

It took about 3 hours total!! I swear I thought there was something wrong with the game. It seemed like every inning was 1-2-3. In the top of the 23rd with one out, there was men on the corners with Zambrano batting (No pinch hitters, I used up my whole bench by about the 14th inning) He grounded up the middle and the shortstop went for the double play and only got the guy at second out, so Ramirez scored on the fielders choice.

Then they loaded the bases in the bottom of the 23rd, but luckily I got out of it It was pretty crazy though, anyone ever have a game go this long?

^^ Yeah that was the first reason I thought the game was f*cking up

It's weird because the games not too-hard or too-easy, I think I'm like 21-11 on my season. And I've probably been into extra inning maybe 5 times, so I guess going 23 innings was just some freak thing, not because the game was so hard or so easy

Highest I've gone in ESPN MLB 2K5 is 18 innings with Barry Zito pitching 17 and 1/3.

Great job

Haha, it's all in the reflexes baby.

His couldn't throw a pitch over 70 mph, but his 12-6 sinker bailed my ass out

I wish Greg Maddux's sinker was working that good today. I used a different starter for Zambrano in the first game because I knew he would still be tired, but I thought Maddux would be ok....he lasted 2 1/3 innings
