i'm looking to get a set of component cables for my Wii...last i read...nintendo was out of stock...for anybody that has the component cables...is there a significant difference? also i found these at wal-mart http://www.walmart.com/catalog/produ...uct_id=5614553
will these or any other cheaper brand cables do or will i have to get the nintendo brand to get the best quality? thanks in advance

and honestly, while I'm sure you will notice a difference, I highly doubt you will be like "HOLY SHIT" or anything.
also, keep in mind it will only do 480p on teh games that support it. most do, but some develepers have been more lazy than others. most have been pretty lazy in general.

yea, they already have talks in lowering the price of the ps3
although imo they just need more titles, but that can be said about all 3 systems right now, not many appealing games coming out all summer.

I was planning on waiting till the end of summer to pick up a 360 just for Halo, but when the elite was released, I wanted to pick that up because it's a better deal than buying the pro kit with the 120GB drive separtely.
I don't know about many other games, but GT is one of the games to own on PS3, and with that game not coming out till next year. PS3 is going to be hurting for a while IMO.

Another reason I wasn't in a rush to buy a 360 when they came out, or even buying one last year.my elite is still sitting in its box, haven't had time to hook it up and I'm still trying to sell my xbox + all the games on ebay, hopefully I'll have that posted up by the end of the week.

yea they definately are not hard to find, my friend who he claims in the bay area said its hard to find it there. anyways when he visited me we went to walmart to get some things and i told him that they are not hard to find at all, and he told me that if they had them in stock he would pick one up. anyways when we got there, they had 5 of them in stock
he ended up not buying one cause he wanst expecting walmart to have so many in stock

Finally got my Wii yesterday. I'm sure the novelty will wear off soon but my 3.5 year old will play it for years. I'll go back to enjoying the PS3 when better games come out. For now, I'm a Wii Tard.

Not sure. I bought Shrek and Pirates. Haven't played them much because I can't pry the wii mote from my 3 year olds hand. I bought it for him and he certainly enjoys wii sports.
