nfs underground is a great game!!! you roam the city and find races.. im 30% done and hav a suped up tiburon (pretty fast) a suped up escalade (the best) and a stock (cant afford anything) supra.... but its the bestracing game ive had!!!

suXor...it blows the first one out of the water. But it gets tiring. I havent played it in awhile. One of those youll pick up every now and then.

 

I played it, seems more fun then the 1st one, more mods to do, more cars, more free driving, etc.

 

oh i got the Supra souped up tight.....240sx and a H2 on some 22".

yeah that game is way better then the 1st one. drifting physic on it is very realistic...and yeah a bunch of mods....oh i also got a Navigator on Hydrolic for show.

 

the way challenge people is pretty cool too....u just chase them down (yeah the computer drive crazy too) just pull up next to them and hit up and race right there...no pause in game or count down like Tokyo Extreme.

I just signed my second contract, i have the nissan 240sx stage 1 everything, except stage 2 ECU, so far so good, , although im confused how to unlock more stuff

 

same here, but i have stage 2 engine; you unlock stuff by racing, lets say for example 9 outruns unlocks turbo

 

o really? i unlocked the turbo a diff way, how long did it take you to get to stage 2? im in the middle of my 2nd contract...and still nothing.

 

Its a good game in some ways and VERY disappointing in others.

- The shameless advertising and marketing crap shoved down the player's throats

- Being forced to rice out cars

- Interface far too complicated. Original NFSU was much better in this aspect.

 

well, either way, its awesome; ive played almost all racing games (g t 3, nfs 1, 2 hot persuit and underground 1/2 and this one is awesome) im in my 4th contract, unlocked the rx7 but bought the g35 after the nissan cuz the nissan had 2 much whell spin and unlocked jackson heights and coal harbor.... great game so far long but great

 

i defintely agree with that. I have to drive for 10 minutes to hook up my car, they should have kept it in one place, way to annoying this way.

 

i agree it is more complicated, but the dyno tuning and the more realistic resopnse to mods is well worth it imo, i just got it for xmas and am working on my 240

 

yeah i hate having to drive around to just get my car painted or change out the rims and body it.

 

THis game is pissing the fuck out of me. I drive for 8 minutes, HUGE circuit races, the computer catches up at t he end, makes me crash, and i have to do it agian, FUCK THIS !

i was just giving him an example, i dont remember how i got the turbo.
i already have the stage 2 turbo, and stage 3 ecu

how do you tune your car, on my lexus is300 the ecu and turbo i put 4 and 5 rpms the lowest it can go, and 6 7 8 rpms i put the highest. all the other rpms i leave to whatever they are.

right now i am....0-60 4.10sec, 0-100 9.56sec, top speed 207.0, max torque 326.6 @6,600 rpm, max power 436.9 @8,450 rpm

i dont really know how to tune so if somone could tell me a better way i would appreciate it

yea but to get to the races you dont actually have to drive to it... go to the garage and go to world map left and right switches between level one and level two races... and up and down will allow you to pick each race, that has made the game go a lot quicker for me....





in order to get a higher rating you have to rice teh fawk outta ur car which is gay imo.... but o well.... this game is sick

 

My RX8 is running 9.44 second 1/4 miles . I put my tuning settings a little more evened out, but still on the high end of the powerband.

 

my tiburon is running 0-60 in 3.44 sec, escalade is 6.2 and nissan z is 3.6 to 60

r u serious??? o crap!!! o well.... i got the gamestop steering wheel for it and it works great, but im still not as good as with the controller. on the 3rd sponser, you hav a huge drift in jackson heights where everyone is done but u and ur opponants hav lik 125000 points. i finally beat it with the controller (first try) with 254,095!!!

 

u should of got the steering wheel by Logitech made for Gran tourismo....full 1.5 turn each directions just like a real car. imma get that when GT4 comes out.
