My wife bought me Wii a few months ago for my birthday. I bought not long after Need for Speed-Pro Street. For those of you that don't know, there are 5 "kings" in the game, in which you play a series of courses until you get to the Kings, you beat them, and then you become the "king of ---". Long story short, I beat two of the kings, by the time I got to the third one, after beating him, the game loads and then freezes on me. I end up having to hold the power button on the wii to get it to turn off. I tried going around it by beating other kings, and once that happened, same problem, it freezes loading the next event. I took the disc out and noticed a scratch that appeared to be under the layer of the disc thinking there might be a flaw in the game and the disc needed to be replaced. I went back to Best Buy this weekend to swap discs. After plenty of bitching they let me swap out the bad disc with a new one. I get home all excited thinking that I can finally beat the kings and get it over with, I proceed to beat one king, get awarded the check/trophy, let the program load-only to see that it's still freezing. So now I believe that the problem is in the Wii. I haven't experienced this problem in any other games i've played so far. I'm thinking the file that has the game saved in within the Wii must be corrupted or something. Worst thing is, I wouldn't know if it would have the same problem in someone elses Wii because I would have to play the whole frikkin game all over again to get to where I was to see if there would still be a problem. I mean I like this game, but not THAT much that I want to start all over. What do I do? Is there a way to delete that file that has my game saved in it so if I happen to want to try it again I can? I know there's a way to do like a master reset, but I don't want to do that. What do I do? Anyone? Bueller? Anyone?

I think a game has a flaw in the disc so I swap it with another disc of the same game

Same think happened to me on Mario....I had to avoid the killer girl....My advice to you is to avoid the killer girl...

 

get off the acura forums and call fucking nintendo dude. why waste your time on an acura site about this?? nintendo will take care of you, just call them, they will send you a pre-paid mailer much like microsoft does for all the 360s that shit the bed and need replacement.
