I have the game, its not really my thing unfortunately.

Closest I can get to 'The Movies' in terms of games is either Simcity or Tycoon

 

I bought it because I'm a film buff, but the game is just flat out horrible. The interface is alright but it just becomes monotonus and boring, seeminly the same thing over and over.


Also, it seems no matter what I do all my stars get pissed off and stop production, which equals no money, which equals no way to make them happy. I've maybe made it to the 1940s once, every time I just get pissed off and exit.
