not to Mention my Friend has 4 & 5 This is for 2,3,6,7,8 (6-8 are all on same receipt).

These were Pre-ordered back in December 2005. ^_^ Maybe it's time for a repaint =D

LOL, well, I wouldn't count your chickens yet. Not many people are going to pay a premium for the system since it's so expensive to begin with. Some will, but how much remains to be seen.

I too would be curious to see how much you make. Personally I think if you're bragging on the forum you should allocate some to forum members who have tried but failed to get one for themselves. But that's just me.

Oh believe me it will. Think about X-Box release with more than 2X the units on release date and I made 1,300-1,500 on the 2 units I got my hands on (Auctions were going over 2k for a Premium system).

The Sony Fanbase is considerably larger than Xbox and the PS3 will be alot more powerful that the 360. I believe it was 2,000,000 units for 360 and less than 500,000 for PS3. I should do considerably well.

And why would I sell it to members. not to be an ass or anything but I have waited nearly a year for the 17th. I want to make us much money as possible. If someone really wanted the system they should have preordered it a year ago like I did.

I know it's your choice, you bought them, you can do what you want with them.

But you can't come on here and brag about this monumentous feat of buying so many PS3's when other people are having a hard time getting just one.

In the area I live no one was taking pre-orders for PS3's until recently. In fact, the toys r us and gamestops in my area didn't start until 2 sundays ago so getting one was a pain. You were just lucky that you got a pre-order a full year ago. If I could have done that i would have too.

And nobody was asking you to sell all of them. Hell you could have held a lottery if you wanted to and sold just one of them for a few bucks over retail to simply be nice to the members on the board.

in the end, it's your choice. but after coming on here to brag, you say you're not trying to be an ass, but you're sounding like one to me.

Would be pretty funny if FYE didn't honor those pre-orders. I don't even remember anyone doing that last year?

Is it just me or does scalping consoles kinda suck...?

Sure, it takes two to dance (a buyer to pay the ridiculous price of the scalper)...but, still...I can't but kind of shake my head at this. But, that's just me...congrats on the multiple PS3 nonetheless.

I don't get paying over MSRP either. But to each their own. Those pics of the Best Buy are hilarious.

After I had posted in the Elmo TMX topic someone PMed me asking if I'd sell him one for his kid at cost. I said of course. I mean, I bought 4 to make a profit on them, but I'm not a complete ass, and it's not like selling these things at a profit will really make much difference to me income-wise in the grand scheme of things.

But like was said, you got lucky and got a bunch of pre-orders while many others on here didn't even have that option available until very recently... and even then it was extremely limited with only a handful (or less) pre-orders available per store, which is why this topic isn't being seen in great taste...

I wouldn't be surprised. Friend or no friend managing that store, I'm sure they sold a TON of pre-orders just like this back then... and now that the allotments have completely changed and some stores are only get a few each, they may have to decide how to divide them up a little better so their regular customers get as shot at one as well (and likely one they will keep and play, not look to re-sell)...

Yes however the receipts have indicated #s stating which preorder it is.

If someone wants to delete this thread they can. I didn't intend to come off like some people have been taking it.

^^And another thing I wanted to mention, not that any of us upstanding members would, but posting about having all these and showing the address of the store and what day you will be going, on a public forum, may entice some bad elements

During a launch period I just don't understand why companies simply don't enforce a one per person rule. Hello! we live in the digital age. Hell, they could go as simple as having a stupid excel sheet with buyers names in there and simply using the find feature to see if they bought one or not. It's not rocket science.

I know it's not that simple, but there has to be some way of keeping this from happening as much as it does.

Yeah, but you have people who send family members out to pre-order for them also. There's really no way around it, unfortunately
