Light Gun games (Question)

I didnt read anywhere else, but can you play light gun games on a projection tv? will it mess anything up? My wife likes some of the PS2 games (vampire hunter, time crisis) but i was not sure if the guns will mess up the tv. Any experiences playing on a big screen? Thanks in advance.

I wouldn't think so. All the light gun does is read the aimmed position from the screen (it's a reader, not a shooter).

Well, I just found the answer. On the back of the box of Time Crisis, it says: Not compatible with LCD screens or Projection screen displays. Man , these games would be fun to play on a 52" widescreen. Oh well.
