Laptop Graphics Card upgrade?

Hey guys. I was wondering if it was possible to upgrade the graphics card on a laptop in anyway. I was wondering if there were PCMIA laptop graphics cards out there? I know on the HP 2.7 P4 laptop i have has a onboard video card, ati mobility radeon which shares 64 megs of ram with the system ram. needless to say the card sucks and i dont think its possible to change the onboard video card... any thoughts? thanks

Not possible.

A few very select "gaming" laptops have this ability, but i don't know if upgraded video cards were ever even released for them.

Supposedly Alienware and Dell(XPS Series), along with some other companies will start using a new Chipset by Nvidia and ATI thar alows for upgradeable hard drives.
