Sweet... I just may have to do that. So, do you all think its worth the $250? Do you have any regrets? I mean do you ever feel like, why did I buy this?

 

damnit, I should have bought it at the Sony store... I went to Best Buy today and they were sold out. Then I went to a GameStop that was across the street and they had a few, but they didn't come with the Spiderman 2 UMD. So I was like I checked Best Buy online, and PSP's are listed as being sold out, across the board. It does mention that Spiderman 2 is included, in the product details though...

I was talking with a friend who is "in the know" about these kind of gadget type things, and she said that the first batch PSP's were made in Japan, but the later ones are going to be made in China, and continued to be made in China. The ones made in Japan are more desirable, either for exclusivity reasons and/or better quality (?) - but anyway I want to get one that's made in Japan.

Looks like the ones that include Spiderman 2 are running out fast... I would jump on those. And face it, getting that UMD for free is a $50 value... pretty good if you ask me, even if the first movie was better :lol:

Spiderman 2 costs $49.99, at least where I saw it. If not that, it's $39.99 - that's what I'm going by - i.e. if I buy a PSP without it, I would have to pay 40 or 50 bucks to get the UMD, from a store. I guess you could get it for cheaper somewhere online but the point is quickly becoming moot...

oh yeah - the point is - who wants to buy a Spiderman 2 UMD when you can get it for free?

 

^^^ wow - some places are really jacking up the prices on these UMD's - Spiderman 2 is listed at fricking SONY STYLE for only $15.95... I swear I saw it for $49.99 at GameStop today.

srika make sure youre not confusing the movie with the game. because they have both. But I have only seen the game in stores which is in fact 50 bucks.

 

oops it must have been the game... they can't be that stupid to price it that high in the midst of all the pricewars.... good catch.

 

That was what I was kinda thinking too...The apps are much more pricier than the movies...

I wonder if Sony will release any pr0n stuff for the PSP?

Make sure you can take an opened product back to BB for refund b4 you buy it.

Makes no sense to have a pixel policy if all you have to do is return it anyway unless dead pixels show up > 30 days?

 

I havent regret it yet, especially with watching ripped movies and listening to MP3's. the thing is a beast. Also about the Best Buy's not having any, that sucks, because my area best buy's have tons of them in stock, all with the Spider Man UMD's. Also, a lot of the guys on the PSP forums are selling their Spider Man UMD's for dirt cheap.
