How is your 360 connected to the internet?
I've been trying to get mine connected, but the "best" advice I got from reading was to purchase the wireless adapter made for the 360. I am going to try and bridge two wireless routers together and hard wire the 360 into one of the routers (the router not directly connected to the cable modem). I am hoping this will work, but very unsure.
I am trying to hook up a media center pc to my 360 also, but I cannot get videos to stream through the 360. I am thinking this is because I need to upgrade my Dashboard, but I can't connect to the internet through the 360 to upgrade the dashboard.
Thanks!

A friend of mine used the old xbox wireless bridge thingy for a while, It seemed to work fine.
I have also read that you can use non xbox branded usb wifi adapters that are available for less than the branded version.
I have mine hardwired to the router, it involved allot of climbing through insulation in the attic, a couple switches, and fishing lines down walls and under a concrete slab, but damnit my connection stays up all the time.

I bought the Official Xbox 360 adapter after trying a couple of other things and it cannot find my wireless network. My Wii and PS3 which are sitting right next to it had no problem. I've kinda given up.
Mine has always been hardwired directly into my router. I'm not sure about this but it seems being hardwired mean a faster connection. For instance, when I do a speed check on one of my hardwired computers, I can get 8 mb download and 1 mb upload speeds. On my wireless laptop (located about 10 feet from my wireless router) I get 6 mb download and 600 kb upload. I don't know for sure if this means the same for the 360 but if you can connect it via ethernet, I'd do it.

I was using the Microsoft Wireless adapter for a long time, because of where I lived. This was very convenient, however I felt download times were slow. Since I have moved, my router is next to the Xbox, so I hardwire, download times are much faster.
Just wanted to pass this along because it is a very good deal..
You can hook up your 360 to this and flash diff. firmware onto the router allowing it to connect to a wireless adapter connected to the internet. This is exactly what I was looking for.
I plan on connecting my 2 computers and my 360 to this and I'll be able to get internet to all 3 from my basement to the upstairs router.
Edit: Forgot the link!! Also this is normally $50, but $25 after rebate

XBOX 360 Wireless adapter, connected to the internet with DSL service.
I haven't had any issues with the adapter itself. The only times when my 360 wouldn't connect was because my main internet connection had went down.

Well, I had planned on getting a USB adaptor from Linksys 'cause I have a Linksys wireless router connected to my cable modem. The Linksys USB adaptor costs $50, compare to the $100 one from Micro$oft. Since I wasn't certain that the Linksys adaptor would work, I decided to go the hard wire route. I ordered a 100' ethernet cable from Newegg for $18(includes shipping).
Now, I just gotta route the cable from the livingroom to my bedroom(atleast the connection will always be stable, and faster!)
I don't play games online, so I'm only doing this for updates(dashboard, backward compatibility),and demos purposes.

Then you werent chewing on the controller hard enough. My main strategy for that game is to try to get the controller in my mouth sideways, focusing on the dpad and the shoulder buttons.
There have been quite a few xbox live games that offer better experiences than doa
