hah same state...i have a bunch of wherehouse gift certificates, but i dont think its open till midnight

i'll have to pick the game up on the way to work...whether i'll actually make it to work is another issues

Picked mine up tonight at midnight, got home and played it for an hour on my 65" HDTV, It's phreaking awesome, the graphics look sweet as hell

Definetly worth the wait. the new guns are sweet, controls seem to be touchier but it'll take some getting used to. It doesn't seem to hard to play. My buddy is coming over on saturday and we're gonna just make it a halo day and try to beat the game on the hardest difficulty.

No health packs on the maps I've been on. The dual yielding gun action is awesome. Graphics look way better than the original Halo.

The sword is deadly.

I pick mine up in about 30 minutes. I may be sick tomorrow, feel something coming on. Hope the boss don't surf the A-CL forum.
On a side note, a buddy of mine had a French copy of it and he said it kicks ass.

There were over 500 people lined up outside the glendale galleria last night for the midnight release.

took and hour of waiting to get my copy. I played it for about 10 minutes before I passed out from jetlag exhaustion...oh well. Been playing it today....awesome.

ya guys in our house got 5 copies at midnight and we just came back and all played multiplayer system link till like 6am it was awesome

a lot diff than halo, but its for the better. graphics are awesome, just takes gettin used to

I've only played the game for about an hour and its amazing. I heard its also not as repetitive as part 1. now my only problem is finding time to play both halo 2 and San Andreas!!!
