The firefigher missions pay progressively more and more as you continue. By the time you reach 8-10 in a row they pay a ton.

I've noticed that blur at speed too. To me it almost seemed intentional on the part of the developers to further enhance the "sense of speed."
Oh and....

In response to Jim's comments, I've also noticed a bit of slowdown. Also, there were times when the screen wasn't even rendered for a while. I simply had blue clips over half the screen until I got right up on the object.
I'm not bitching, cause the gameplay far outweighs these minor issues.

When you do the mission where you steal the combine harvestor farm equipment thing... you can run over people, they get chopped up inside the machine and arms and legs and stuff fly out of the back as if they were hay. LOL

I've been out doing the missions in the badlands with that bitch Catalina... I decided to check back in on Groove Street and I no longer make money at my house for having gang control over areas and the map is no longer green/purple/yellow....

sex appeal: 60% of it is what car your driving. the rest is how expensive your car n shit are.
muscle is only like 10%. most girlfriends wont date you if your too buff.
graphics: personally i like the "blur" effect. but i agree about textures being painted too slowly.
the worst is flying... trees just pop up outta nowhere in your face.
i been flying around the Lear Jet tho... that shit is sooo pimp.

my favorite small thing is to carjack other grove street guys, then recruit them to be in my gang.
so after i smash the guys face, and steal his car, he just hops in shotgun and off we go.

park next to fence...
walk up ramp... jump onto fence... climb fence...
walk in between hangars... there will be a dodo plane...
do a 180 and taxi down to the end of the runway... at the end there is a learjet sittin there for the taking.
just be careful flying through downtown los santos... the plane has a fairly low ceiling and you wont clear the buildings...
and the buildings dont pop up until last second... so u dont have much warning

sex appeal is not a permanent stat. you only need it when finding honeys... and you lose it as soon as you switch cars.
sex appeal is the last stat to be concerned about
