geForce 6800 Problems

So in my new comp the geForce 6800 256mb card is acting up. Is anyone aware of whats causing this, can anyone help me. Am i going to have to get another card? I will start a game and it will be fine, then after about a minute or so the game starts to jump and shutter.....PLEASE HELP!!!

If it's a new comp, try to get it fix under warrenty.

Is the computer store bought or did you/someone else buy parts and put it together yourself?

Try opening the case and see if the fan duct on the video card is free of dust. Use a can of compress air to free up any dirt you see.

Try removing the video card and putting it back in.
