From what I know - "Drivatar" is similar to the B-spec "driver" in GT4. What do you mean by people putting up such low #'s? Do they use their Drivatar online or something?

 

good point. If these people are like picking a Takata NSX and pitting it against a field of Skodas and then say the AI sucks, I can't help them. No one can.

But seriously - I think they're talking about like how there is typically one AI car that is like, really good - and the rest are just like filler cars. The way I see it, I akin it to a kind of "boss" car... that is very typical in competitive kind of games.

 

No, you can not use it online, but when you play career mode they track your best track times and keep a list of everyone who has played and their times and rank accordingly.

 

B-Spec driver gets better the more he drives.
Avatar driver has to be trained by you. If you suck, your drivatar will also suck no matter how much he drives.

B-spec driver gets better only if he wins races. He does not necessarily win races - it requires input from you, the player.

But it looks like drivatar has a better concept going.

 

No srika, you don't need to win races to earn B-Spec pts. My B-Spec guy has 8001 pts and he doesn't win a lot of races.

yea.. guess I haven't raced B-spec in a while. Forgot you get points even if you don't win races.
