Why don't you do some research and what the real reviews looked like?

MSZ, who is amazed by the xbox fanboys' ignorant.

So, what do real reviews look like?

Wow... I find it ironic you are calling people ignorant after making this utterly ridiculious statement:

Yea right, not to mention those biased reviews are actually paid by Microsoft Corp.
It's not worth a reply, but I just had to show the irony.

My only comment to this entire thread:

I have both Forza and GT4. I personally prefer Forza, but both are great games.

Anyone that says one blows the other out of the water is just being silly. We all may prefer one game over the other, as each has it's respective strength and weaknesses, but both games are great in their own ways. End of story.

And speaking as a mod, MSZ really needs to mellow out...

not bashing at all. The fact remains that damage is a nice feature but when it comes down to it...not important. Competitive races in Gt4 will punish drivers who can't drive. Forget driving into walls....just running into the grass etc., will kill times.

Anway, I was compelled to participate when someone says something that is incorrect.

When you got up said...

...I had to correct you with the facts. Don't take it as a personal attack because it's not. You said you played the game but you must not have played it in Career Mode to have seen that there is indeed a reason why damage does play a role in the overall gameplay.

Bash Forza all you want, but make sure you bash it with accurate information.

in one of the races, i disabled traction control in my old school camaro ss which was pushing 500 hp. While launching the car from teh start, i not only burnt out my tires, but i almost destroyed my gearbox. After a single lap, the shifts were ridiculously slow, because of the continual damage to the gearbox.

now THAT is a fucking awesome simulation

ok so - how many approx. hours have you and others logged playing Forza online? Why isn't anyone setting up races against each other here? If GT4 had online mode there would be a rampant online competition thread going on right here. Similar to SOCOM or Halo threads... What's the deal? Why aren't you guys organizing any online competitions against each other here? Just curious. Very curious.
I am trying to beat the career mode first or at least get to level 30...im 21 now..i have messed around a few times online, but they go by class and there are some people on level 50+ and have the best possible cars for certain tracks for every class of car..i have logged approximately 25-30 hours playing and i love the game as well..

Funny, none of the GT4 fans picked up fights like "GT4 owns Forza".

Forza fans can enjoy their game all they want, we didn't cross the line like they did.

I am done with all Forza vs GT4 threads from now on.

How is damage in a racing simulation not important? That's like saying weather is not important in a flight simulator. If you hit another car or a wall, don't you think it should effect the performance of the car? Isn't that what a simulator SHOULD DO?

Are you saying that it's more realistic to be able to plow into a wall at 100+ mph and still have full performance capabilities of the car? If you're cool with that - more power to ya.

GT4 does emphasize on driving on the "line". If you cut the wheel a little to a direction you do lose speed. If you don't enter a turn at the right angle, you'll lose time. I do want to rent Forza. BTW, does "forza" mean something in Italian?

Anyway, I should hopefully get an XBox 360 this week to play with. Other than that, it's all quiet.

ahaha.....no need to take advice from Silver. Sets bad example of board conduct and then criticizes others

btw...i wouldn't be suprised if you get a PM. He must have pictures of somebody with a goat.

you've done a good job. Despite your PS fanboy status, your duties as a mod have not shown bias.

Everyone that is a mod wants to be a mod, no one forces you

But you don't need to own Forza or an Xbox to start a thread about the online aspect of the game, because it sure doesn't stop the other GT4 fanboys from commenting on a game they don't own.

umm... you're putting words in my mouth again. I never said or implied, anywhere, that I was being "forced"... is this just something you normally do? If that's the case, fine, I'll disregard it.

You are upset because I said "so bad". You wanted to be a mod just like the rest of us, right?

And read it again, I did not say you were forced.

I'm not upset - I just want to make sure we're "on the same page". Sure I wanted to be a mod, but it was not the way you made it out to be - the circumstances were different. That distinction is important enough to me that I would like it clarified. I read it again - you used the word "force". Did you mean something else?

I'm not the kind of person that likes to drag things out like this - but as long as you continue to give me a reason to clarify something or reply to something, I will.
