sound and graphics are great, but sound and graphics alone make a game do not....
I had already read reviews of Forza on some gaming sites, they said the handling is bunk ass compared to GT4....

Not sure about negative reviews, but since the game is far from completed, I don't believe any review is terribly accurate. MS recently released a newer demo recently (the second video I showed was from the new demo). Here is a pretty postive preview of a newer preview build. Again, take it with a grain of salt since the game still is in development:

The end state is that this game has great potential. It's too early to speculate how good it will ultimately end up being. I doubt it will be better that GT4 as the whole package, but the addition of online play, car design customization and damage modeling make it appealing.

ok well if the game is still in development, maybe one of you Xbox peeps can tell Bill about the tantamount importance of the physics engine, maybe fwd him this thread, maybe it'll influence them to re-evaluate the engine...

Well, first off. STI intercoolers are located under the hood, not infront of the car.
second, GT4 DOES have online play. there are people playing gt4 online right now. through xlink of couse.
third, No ferraris and porsches in GT4!

I play GT4 everyday but...from looking at that Forza screenshot, GT4 still looks real compared with...well Forza. Everyday I see Impreza on the streets of Tokyo...and GT4's Impreza are just like the one I see everyday. From looking at that Forza screenshot, it look is not even close to the real life Impreza.
Just honest impression from the screenshot and the GT4.

ps. do you care to comment on the latest car trends in Japan... they are always ahead of everyone else... but.. this thing with the exhaust, mufflers, and intercoolers sticking outside of the car, to the side, etc... is it true? I have seen pictures of this, can you confirm. also, any other trends you care to comment. thanks

Thanks srika for the compliment.
i read somewhere a group of guys played it together with 6 players. 3 japanese version and 3 chinese version.
they said it worked, but it was coppy with full 6 players, but when it was only 3, they said it was fine, not problem. and by adding another player, slowly it got coppy. but what i was thinking it, maybe its caused by different version of the games. chinese vs. japanese.
but, we'll just have to wait and see.
I wonder how the online experience is with xlink.. I have heard of it, but I wonder if it's choppy.

forza's coming out in may they told me when i went to go pick up gt4, i'm going to buy that too, when i went to the store they also have a demo of forza that u can play, and i must admit it's awesome, it looks great, the driving is very similar to GT4, but the gas and brake is on the two triggers like nfsu2

Coupes are not so popular. But GT-Rs, Evos, Impreza, and etc..are still very popular....especially the Skyline GT-R since it havent been produced since 2002. The newest one (BNR34 V-Spec II Nur) costs like Mercedes because of the premium that the car has.... I've seen one priced above $80k. But overall, design of the Japanese cars have become extremely stylish(IMO) compared with those from few years back and their interior is very stylish as well.
