Component switch box
So I got a great new 26" LCD HDTV a few weeks ago and have been upgrading all of my cables up to components. Only problem is, it only has one component input.
I'm eventually going to have the PS2, Wii, and Xbox 360 hooked up, so I went out to GameStop and bought this simple switch box that accepts components for only $20.
I've been playing games with it hooked up and it looks great to me. I really can't see any signal degredation at all. But I got some real A/V people telling me I should have gotten one of these more expensive boxes that are powered, have a little LCD screen, cost $100, etc.
I don't see what the deal is since I think mine looks fine. Would I notice a much sharper picture if I got one of those expensive switch boxes? Do the more expensive ones do something I don't know about?
