Hah, hella old, but always fun to watch.

 

Tempted to call He's sliding the pieces once they hit the bottom. As anyone who's played Tetris knows, once you hit the button to drop a piece straight down you can't move it. So in order to slide the piece after it flew down he'd have to be using the down button to bring it down, and we all know sliding it like that doesn't move as fast as it does in the movie.

Not to mention his hands don't look like they're moving fast - they look sped up.

 

I think in some versions of tetris (newer ones) you CAN slide and manipulate it after it's "down" ... so I don't think that aspect is bullshit, but as to real time, I have no clue.

It wouldn't surprise me though if there were people out there that could play tetris like that though..especially if they're in the grand championships or whatever.
