i just bought a ps3 yesterday because i decided to sell my ps2 that i have had for 6 years. but after spending 650 on a ps3 and a controller, i decided to not buy any games due to $$$. so all i have is madden 07 for ps2, which i still play the most out of any games.

i went to the ea sports online to download the updated rosters to save onto my ps3 hard drive but it says that i cant access the online system. is it because im on a ps3 or did i just configure the ea sports account wrong?

was anyone able to download the updated rosters for madden 07 (ps2) onto the ps3 system?

But if I were you I would rent Madden07 for the PS3. Playing PS2 games on the PS3 is like buying a Porsche and always keeping it under the speed limit

 

well i decided to buy a game (need for speed carbon). i would have rather purchased madden nfl 07 but i have already played it and found that the new controls, the game itself is definitely not worth the $60. probably the worst madden game ever.

i think even if i have madden 07 for both the ps2 and ps3, i would rather play the ps2 version just because it is of superior game quality, even though the graphics are subpar.

so now that i answered your questions, does anyone know if you can download the online rosters for madden 07 (ps2) onto the ps3?

 

I agree on the game quality of the PS2 being better then the 3. Not sure about roster downloading.


In all honesty, my PS3 is my media center as opposed to my game console. I may play 3-4 hours a week (if that); although I did just buy Motorstorm today. But it's mainly my blueray player/ music center (finally loaded up all my music). It'll even play off an ipod (however the formating isn't great, but it has steadily improved as the updates keep comming in.
