I found about this game from a Russian friend of mine, apparently its all the rage where he lives. Too bad there is no North American publisher for this game.

I played the Czech version of the game with my boss. It is unreal what you can do. The physics of this game > all! As Ken said, every vehicle in this game can be controlled. My boss showed me this video where there were about 400 tanks and they blew up one and it set off a chain reaction that starting blowing up every tank. It was very realistic. This is a pretty cool video. I will get the other one from my boss and post soon.

Game looks sick. One of my all time favorite military/shooter sim is Operation Flashpoint (same creators) This is going to be an awesome game!

 

DLing it now what is the minimum requirements tho? Will a 128mb of ram vid card work?

Yea I looked it up online and dled the file however I put the file in my game folder not system. The demo is ok on my computer in order to get the best experience you need a 256mb of ram vid card and 2gb of ram.

 

Has anyone heard anymore about this game. When the hell is it going to release in the US??? I have been waiting for this game for over a year.

 

I've been playing this recently. Its pretty good, but it takes some getting used to and learning.

geez with maps that big id imagine you'd need alot of people to be able to have fun, hows the lag in the game?

 

yeah ive been having a hard time getting used to it, but then again i only play like 20 minutes here and there. Anyone have to turn off the annoying ass shading? Feels very artificial and was extremely distracting, i had to turn it off...

 

The new Armed Assault: Combat Operations is out. It has been out for that last couple weeks, but I never heard anything. Anyways, I'm picking it up at Best Buy today for $39.99. I will let you know how it turns out.

Works great on my computer and its fairly up to date, nothing outrageous or anything unaffordable

 

Let us know how it is Ken. I still think Dragon Rising (Operation Flashpoint 2) is going to be a better game.

 

So far its like a perfect combo of America's Army and the Battlefield series.

Incredibly realistic, fun and yet relatively easy to play when you factor in the complexity and number of controls.
