That sounds like a good product name, you should send that to them.

Oh and be sure to include our reasons behind it's creation.

I saw his yacht when I was in the Vancouver area three years ago. I swear it was bigger than most of the apartment buildings near my house.

My final review of vista: Meh. It is everything I hate about windows: wierd quirks, annoying habbits, phoning home, buttons everywhere even when it doesn't make sense. In many, many ways it is a step up from XP, but IMO most of the best features are catch up to OSX and even Linux (high res icons, hardware acceleration). It boggles my mind how they managed to screw up features they lifted from competitors.

Here is an example of a wierd thing it does, I have my school wifi set up and every time it connects to a new access point (despite identical ssid's) it wants me to configure security settings for that specific AP. ?!?!! why cant it just have global settings for that ssid?? Annoyances like these are made bearable by the fact that it is only 1 click, still annoying.

That's quite an improvement compared to the 3.1 he started with...

I know have it on my laptop, and am starting to really like it even with UAC, It will prevent nasty code from getting on the machine as long as you acutally look at the dialog box when it comes up..

Also there are some tricks if you need to do stuff.

I just finished the install to Home Premium. Seems very nice so far. I like some of the features and the photo tools especially.

We will see in the long haul.
