I've never played any MMORGPGS before and I'm really tempted to pick this one up. The only thing that puts me off is the $15/month, it seems really steep and I'm used to paying $50 and taking my time to play when I want...

Do you get any free gameplay time included in the purchase of the game itself?

Do you need to provide a credit card even if you just buy the pre-paid cards?

 

You get 1 month free, as with any MMO.

I dont think you will need a credit card as long as you get the pre-paid cards. And the 15 bucks is pretty worth it. Most of them are constantly updating their content. A lot of the stuff they will add will be "free" until they release an expansion.

I play WoW (not so much anymore) and they have added 2 instances (dungeons) and a whole lot of content, which they did not charge for. So IMO, that 15 bucks a month, goes pretty far. You are always getting updates. You are playing on a live server. So anytime there is an update. You will get it at no cost... I dont mind paying the 15 bucks.
