Open world PVP is only fun if it's near equal numbers (which it rarely ever is)
It all comes down to who summons the most people in and or has enough people to zerg down the others. Aside from that WOTLK pretty much eliminated any open world PVP.
I enjoy arena for the fact that you at least have balanced numbers.

Aion is pretty fun. There are some movement issues that are different than WoW that take some getting used to.
Mobs don't seem to be on quite as linear of an axis as they are in WoW. Just the tank in me speaking, but I have a feeling it'll make positioning mobs a little trickier.
It's really going to depend on what the endgame is like for me. I'm not a super gung-ho PvP person, so we'll see how long it lasts.
Did you fuckers pick a server and start a guild yet?

Sadly it died before I ever saw it. I don't have a lot of time to play, and because I work shift work the timing isn't consistent. But I would love to try and work with a group. I've got a 60 Alliance toon that I haven't touched since BC and a 70 something Horde mage that's my main. I play on Medivh, and would love the company! I hope this takes off and we can all get something together!
