Alright... who are the people here voting for alliance? I've never played alliance cause I've heard it was filled with 12 year olds who want to be "good" or "heroes of justice" or w/e.

It used to be like that. I do not think that it is so much like that anymore. I would be willing to bet that the horde has just as many retards as the alliance.. Regardless of age.. Actually, I know this as fact.

I voted alliance for the simple fact I have played all of the horde starting areas 1000 times.

I still blame the creation of Blood Elfs for this... "Look, the horde now has a "pretty" race, I think I am gonna play one of them"

I have a druid. Although a NE druid may not be a bad thing. I am just not a fan of the HoTs... We fully geared a shaman last night. Came in wearing blues left in all epics. Lucky bastard.

He get a full epic set, I got a ring.. Should have known better rolling a priest.

I think I might buy a prepaid card to get back into the game. But I'm going to format my computer tonight. It hasn't been done in 2 years, and my computer is taking too long to do stuff.

To be honest re-rolls don't last long unless they are the hardcore no life raid all day everyday kinda guild.

If this happens more than half will be gone by level 30. Unless a lot of people do DK's.

I'm up for transferring or starting up new. I'm actually looking for a server to transfer now actually.

I just quit end-game raiding 2 weeks ago - downed up to Yogg [on 25] but never got him. Raiding was fun but it turned out to be another full time job.

I'm on llane currently. I would like PvE.

So we are going to do alliance on a PvE server?

What kind of population are we wanting. I would suggest a medium. But that is just me.

I dont have any problem spearheading this thing, I just want to make sure that everyone is happy....

Are we going to go somewhere were people have toons now, or a brand new server? I know it takes me about an hour and a half to get through the DK starting quests, so even if we started on a brand new server. I could level a DK to run us through some newbie instances and crap.

The one change that they are making to the game soon, is to allow for people to transfer factions. I could potentially move a toon from horde to alliance and help.

how would you move factions?

would you just have to pick a new toon and all your equivalent gear transfers over?

or would you be like a traitor to your original faction?

Aion closed beta tomorrow night through Sunday night. I've got my fridge stocked with Diet Coke, and the pantries are filled with snacks. I'm ready to binge video game.

Say you have a Blood Elf Mage and wanted to make him alliance. You pay real money and you can choose whatever race alliance side that is able to be a mage. All of your gear and crap goes with you. The only thing that will not transfer are horde/alliance only stuff. Mounts and what not are excluded.

Heres my thing with Aion.

Its made by NCSoft. I used to Play Lineage II and I admit, in terms of graphics (at the time) it blew everything out of the water. I mean they're a Korean company, and I wouldn't expect any less. (Meaning korean companies make beautiful graphics)

The main problem with NCSoft games I've seen is the grind. Like literally, grinding is the worst god forsaken thing in the world in NCSoft games. Like I'm talking partying with a group and having to grind monsters for 9-12 hours straight just to get one level (once you reach the upper levels).

And the ridiculous drop rates for items. In order to get an "epic" item, you have to kill bosses who may have a 2-3% to drop any loot at all. I think its mainly because most Korean Gamers (like the ones in Korea, not Korean Americans) are hardcore gamers, prefer grinding for hours on end and trying forever to get that one piece of epic loot that no one else on the server has.

Also I've noticed that NCSoft defintely does not regulate their games as strictly as Blizzard. Botting/Gold buying/idiocy all goes in one of their games.

Now if Aion has fixed those issues, I'm more than up for playing it. I will be trying out the Aion beta this weekend and hope that all those issues I mentioned with their previous games have been fixed.

.
I don't think that is entirely a bad thing.

That is probably one of the biggest issues I have with WoW.. They made Epics too easy to get.

When I first started playing, in the MC, BWL days. If you saw someone in all epics, your first reaction was "Wow"... Nowadays, if you are not full epic, you suck....

More like if you're not in current epics you suck.

If I see someone in nax10 gear right now they suck.

I have a mix of 10 man and 25 man naxx gear. I have really not been playing a whole lot lately for the simple fact my guild will not fucking leave naxx alone...

So I have retired my mage and have been gearing my priest. I am already Ulduar ready and now need nothing from naxx on my second toon...

Here is my mage and priest. (Excuse the gear on the priest. I have been raiding as shadow to work on my DPS set. My healing gear gives me a score of 2200 on wow-heroes.com)

Open world PVP is only fun if it's near equal numbers (which it rarely ever is)

It all comes down to who summons the most people in and or has enough people to zerg down the others. Aside from that WOTLK pretty much eliminated any open world PVP.

I enjoy arena for the fact that you at least have balanced numbers.
