I can't listen from work, but I'm assuming the kid bitches his mom out about some chocolate milk?
The sad thing is that he probably learned to talk to her that way from his dad. And she probably takes it from the kid because she's used to taking it from the dad.
Cuz let's face it fellas, most of you who are saying you'd be in a wheelchair right now if you'd talked to your mom that way are probably thinking not of what your mom'd have done to you, but what daddy'd do when he got home and mom told him what you'd said. Not that mothers are any less scary ... but that's where you learn respect for your mom... from your dad.

You know, there is something to be said for making your child afraid purposefully do something wrong. If they know that they're going to bring hell upon themselves if they screw up, it's more likely to keep them in line...

The second part, very true. I learned respect for my parents from the way they treated each other, and I could see the difference in other kids who had parents that acted differently towards each other.

Well, yeah, the parents were equally scary in my family too, but my dad used his physicality to scare me, whereas my mom utilized a more subtle emotional/mental attack structure.
In other words, mom might have made my life miserable afterwards, but my dad'd be the one to actually beat my ass.

Dad = Physical pain
Mom = Emotional pain (see also: enforcement of punishment)

I recall throwing an "F you" at mom one time. There was a flash of light, the distinct taste of grass in my mouth, and the realization that I was laying face down. Little did I realize that dad was there. Lesson learned, don't swear at mom.

Doesn't surprise me, though...parents don't discipline their kids these days...on top of that, it seems like we've created a culture that puts kids on pedestals like there something to be worshipped...whatever they want whenever they want it...

And things were a little different in my house...mom taught you respect for her, not dad. Fear them? No. Fear the punishment you knew was coming? Yes...mom hit hard, dad hit harder...the best was when you got one from mom during the day and one from dad when he got home (usually just after mom's had quit hurting).

DAMN WTF is wrong with kids these days?! If I even thought about talking back to my mom I would get slapped or an ass whoopin or both. And cursing at her??? oh noooo. I am 28 years old, and I STILL don't curse around her. That kid needs to get it baad. What makes this even worse is that his mom let it go on. If that were my mom the XBOX would have been turned off and I probably would have been beaten with the controller or anything else my mom could get her hands on. Kids have no respect these days, then every body talking about how we shouldn't spank or disipline our children, bullshit. This is a good example of what happens when kids aren't disicplined. The next generation is going to be full of disrepectful brats.
The video was kind of funny though especially when the guy zoomed in on that guys face while that little brat was bitching and the character lips said "I want some Motha fuckin chocolate milk!"
I've never ever cussed @ my parents.
I did get into a frustrating argument with my mother once and said 'fuck' (not to her, but @ the sitaution). She slammed the brakes on the car, stared @ me with the face of death itself and asked me if I just cussed @ her.
I promptly explained that I had cursed about the situation, and not at her, and subsequently shut my mouth for the rest of the day.
The stare was like Medusa's herself.
Edit: and I believe hitting children is necessary. Obviously not the point where it's dangerous... but it seems society today has conditioned kids to know that it's wrong. These kids are the ones that hit their parents back.
