Glitches don't bother me too much, but the unlimited care packages are gay as hell. If I wanted to get spawnraped by people with no skill in an unbalanced game, I'd be playing Halo, not MW2
It's all fun and games until you can't get your emergency airdrop and the other team does because for the latter half of the game there's always at least 1 harrier and/or helicopter or CG/AC-130 up in the air, and every time you shoot one down, another one shows up in its place.
If something gets patched, it probably had no place in the game to begin with or was overlooked during development.

some of my friends are afraid to play with me too because they think I'll care that they suck. I don't care, I don't really care about winning either... what makes me mad is when I play crappy, or I play on a team with strangers and the strangers suck, which results in me getting owned by a CG or AC-130, or worse, nuked

something that pisses me off about this game. for all the guns with the uhh... support arms beneath the place where the bullets come out of (yes, I know my guns like that) - wouldn't it make sense that if you go prone with one of these, you would be using these supports, and the scope would be rock-solid with zero movement? Yet I go prone and it's doing that same stupid wandering thing. GHEY

You mean a bipod? Yeah, the FAMAS has one and so do the LMGs. I really wish guns were more accurate when you're prone.
And it seems they've fixed the care package glitch (unlimited and the speed one too) on PC. So much for that.

oh and, has anyone tried holding one of those guns with long scopes like that IRL? I haven't but I *feel like* I would be able to hold one a hell of a lot more stably than that stupid wandering movement. Or, I would put it on a support with the bipod like that.

You don't necessarily see the sway, IRL. But, standing and firing any shoulder fire weapon is far less accurate than shooting from the prone.
And, the Barret .50 cal is between 48-57" (depending on the barrel) and weighs ~31lbs, so hitting a target while standing up will be nearly impossible.

I just can't use one gun forever. I don't know if its my play style that's changing up or what. For the longest time I was using an M16 with FMJ and thought I had the ideal combo. damn near got the fall camo for it, even though I don't even try for headshots.... unless someone is camping, in which case I run up to them, then aim down the sights for a solid 2 seconds so the only thing the see in the killcam is me aiming at them
anyways now I'm back to the M4... seemed to help a lot more when I'm going up against groups

^I'm with you on switching guns. The only gun that I've kept in a class since I got it is the SCAR. I still haven't found a perfect class yet. As of late, I have become quite fond of the M21.
Also, whenever I switch from an auto to a semi-auto, it takes me like 4 kills to remember that it only fires when I pull the trigger.

Something similar happened to me last night. I was 11-0 and just got the CG and I made my 12th kill and the game lagged out.
I was in a good spot too.....I could have easily gotten 10 more kills with the CG. I also had an EAD for after that.

It's been lagging really bad for me today, so I changed my name to "GAY AZZ TACTICS" and just used marathon lightweight commando with an AA12 and ran around with that the whole time. With the lag, people were getting so pissed

they've made the uzi so much better than from the last game. Just went nuts on Favela, silenced with stopping power, jumping around like a monkey.... almost got a sick last killcam, jumping from one building to another to another, barely catching on the last one, then shooting a guy in the barber shop window.... instead my friend got an easy one, walking up right behind an oblivious camper and shooting him in the back

No, search and destroy is 500 points per kill. It's 1000 xp if you get a headshot kill. That game mode is great for ranking up because I can get 10,000 xp in one game regularly

haha i was playing on wasteland and there were a bunch of enemies trying to get one of their care packages, so i put a sentry gun right next to it and got like 5 kills from that. When I went to steal the package, it turned out it was an AC130, and I got it, too.

just was at Favela again tonight, got 1 care pkg... CG. And I got it. However I only had a few kills... the angles were very weird and difficult to hit people.. for me at least.. anyways still fun and I feel better now. at one point it came down to like, 2nd floor building level... was weird.

I went 12-1 tonight(ground war, domination), first game like that. They kept coming back to kill me over and over. Didn't happen and it cost them the whole game.
The care package glitch is getting old though, it seems to be mostly out of desperation. although last night I was on a team glitching and it was ridiculous. Everyone had multiple packages....everyone.
