When you have more games coming out in the series and each of those has new map packs.. it gets really ridiculous.

 

what setups do you guys like the best, as far as gun/attachments/perks?

I just hit 1st prestige on the PC.

 

commando red dot extended clip
ak74u grip extended clip
M60 grip extended clip
G11 scoped
M16 grenade launcher

I haven't prestiged.. don't really see the point. Someday be able to make my guns gold..

 

Commando - extended mag and reflex sight
M60 - extended mag and grip (nice because you get all 200 rounds at once, no reloads) but will only use it with the lightweight perk.

I'm going through the perks right now and trying to do the achievements to get the Pro versions. Right now I'm working on Ninja pro. The 150 silenced kills won't be a challenge, but planting the bomb 10 times is. I've been trying to get it playing demolition, but the teams always seem to be horribly matched. If you look at kills, every player on one side will have 50+ while the top player on the other team has fewer than 20. Anyone else noticed that?

On a related note, ran into a bunch of MEX members. I've played against them on GB back in the day when Resistance was the only game out and I know their members are pretty good. I checked their stats, and they were decent: avg. kdr on their combat record was 1.5. I thought no problem.. boy was I fucking wrong. I was getting shot from both sides.. If I didn't drop the first guy, his buddy is right behind with sights on me. fk!

 

Guess when it is the only game you really play its different. To me it is like little mini game release every once and a while.

As for prestiging, is that how you get the gold guns?

I dunno when i picked up people's gold guns for some reason (dunno if is psychological or what) but I started kicking ass even more!

 

I'm also one crate away from hardline pro.

It was Ssoooooooo hard to give up chopper gunner 3x last night to teammates. But iirc hardline pro let's me pick what I want for the care package

 

You might as well run around naked with a butter knife.

Also, picking whats in your care package is overrated imo. Sometimes it's worse.

I think Famas got to be the one of the best gun to use.

I enjoy using M16.

 

I was using Commando with reflex, or Galil/Famas silenced with reflex.

I like the exploding crossbow for a secondary weapon, semtex grenades, concussions or flashbangs and claymores.

 

Commando is one of my favorite gun but shoots way too slow.

 

Miz, the reason you were kicking ass is you were shooting something other than the enfield. You have some historical tie to that gun. You should play at least 10 games with every gun and try different attachments as well.

It does shoot slow and kicks too.. if only extended mag and rapid fire were available. Of course you'd get 3 or 4 kills and have to scavenge for a new weapon. I like the M16 as well.. I've been shooting the G11 over it though since it has the oversized clip.

 

Miz.. as far as prestiging & gold guns goes.. I think you have to be lvl 15 prestige to get that "perk".

 

I only attach silencer and extended mag.
I think 150 bullet is plenty for me to go around...
Prestige 14 to get the Gold camo.

I used to prestige right away but I stopped doing it because it is pointless.

 

I think AK is the one of the worst gun... recoil on that thing is stupid.

 

I hate assholes that runs around with stakeout or olympia.

 

Used the commando for a few weeks, didn't like it. Didn't like the AK either.

Famas is ok.
I did like the Galil....

 

The galil is great. On hardcore, it is far and away the best gun

I get such a kick out of tagging someone and watching them run around to try and kamikaze someone.

 

I like blowing people up with the remote controlled car...partly because I rarely get more than 2 kill streak (hardline perk gives you 1 less kill streak necessary).

 

I use any rifle really, but recently I started using the AK with reflex and suppressor, it does kick like a bitch, but as with any full auto, you gotta burst fire, then it's pretty good. Still prefer the FAL if I'm really in the zone or the the M16 if I'm not so with it. Still havent leveled up enough on my 3rd prestige for the commando... miss that rifle.

 

Have you ever reached up to dogs or chopper?

I have it set up where spy plane, chopper, and dogs.

I love using dogs and chopper at the same time in nuke town.

 

^ nope I got napalm twice and a few crate drops which are stupid.

 

Highest I got was chopper gunner, but I dont have it installed because I can't get that many kills.

I got b-52 and 1-2 more kills past it (so if I had chopper gunner I would've had it)

I have crate, apache, huey right now. I depend on my teammates for radar, but it seems like half of the time no one has radar and the other team always has..

I want to switch apache out for dogs but I'm not sure it'll be as big of benefit to me since only 1/5 games will I have a chance to use dogs. Whereas the apache is almost every game.

 

working on getting the pro version of all the kill streaks.

i have alot of them.

but flak jacket pro is so hard since everyone uses semtex..

btw i got the attack copter recently, pretty fun to pilot that thing around the map
